Among them, the output of ternary battery was 5gwh, accounting for 36.2% of the total output, with a year-on-year growth of 62.9% and a month on month growth of 25.4%; The output of LiFePO4 battery was 8.8gwh, accounting for 63.6% of the total output, with a year-on-year growth of 317.3% and a month on month growth of 41.6%.
From January to may, China's power battery production reached 59.5gwh, a year-on-year increase of 227.3%. Among them, the cumulative output of ternary battery was 29.5gwh, accounting for 49.6% of the total output, with a year-on-year cumulative increase of 153.4%; The total output of LiFePO4 battery was 29.9gwh, accounting for 50.3% of the total output, with a year-on-year cumulative increase of 360.7%.
In terms of installed capacity, in May, the domestic power battery loading capacity totaled 9.8gwh, up 178.2% year on year and 16.2% month on month.
According to the type of materials, the total load of ternary batteries in May was 5.2gwh, up 95.3% year on year and 1% month on month; The total load of LiFePO4 battery was 4.5gwh, with a year-on-year increase of 458.6% and a month on month decrease of 40.9%.
According to the power battery manufacturers, Ningde times (4.28gwh), BYD (1.68gwh) and LG Chemical (1.31gwh) ranked in the top three in loading capacity in May.
In the first five months of this year, China's power battery loading volume was 41.4gwh, up 223.9% year on year. Among them, the total loading capacity of ternary battery was 24.2gwh, accounting for 58.5% of the total, with a year-on-year increase of 151.7%; The total load of LiFePO4 battery was 17.1gwh, accounting for 41.3% of the total load, with a year-on-year increase of 456.6%.
The data also showed that in May, the energy density distribution of pure electric passenger car system was 140 (including) - 160wh / kg and 160wh / kg and above models, respectively producing 44000 and 52000, accounting for 29.3% and 34.2% respectively, and the output of models below 125wh / kg was 26000, accounting for 17.1% from 22.5% in April.
